Brodies sharpens focus on oil and gas sector with latest expansion

Law firm Brodies has today unveiled two further senior appointments at its operation in Aberdeen.

The hiring of oil and gas specialist Sonia Love, pictured, and corporate lawyer Suzanne Hopkinson takes the number of Brodies people based in the North-east to 30.

Love, who joins the firm as a partner, has more than 15 years’ experience in the oil and gas sector, and has worked both in private practice and in-house for a number of major companies.

Hopkinson, an associate, will be able to call upon 14 years’ experience, having also worked both in private practice and in-house, in Brussels, London and Hong Kong.

She was previously the corporate counsel at US global telecoms company, MCI WorldCom.
