Border Biscuits rolls out best-selling dark chocolate ginger as snack bar in Morrisons

The latest deal follows £1 million of private investment in the firm’s Lanark manufacturing plant, enabling a run rate of up to 500 chocolate biscuit bars a minute.

More than 180 Morrisons stores across the country will now carry the newly launched dark chocolate ginger biscuit bars – an evolution of the firm’s best-selling dark chocolate ginger and its first foray into the fast-growing snack bar product category.

Border Biscuits managing director John Cunningham said: “With in-home snacking having increased by 50 per cent during lockdown, we hope that consumers will enjoy discovering their favourite biscuit in its new snack bar format.

“To have our new dark chocolate ginger bars land in Morrisons is testament to the continued hard work and commitment of our team.”
