Barrhead Travel creates 50 jobs

BARRHEAD Travel is pumping £800,000 into its apprenticeship scheme to create 50 jobs throughout Scotland and the north of England.

The agency, which took on 45 apprentices last year, will create the roles over the next six months.

Chief executive Sharon Munro – whose father, Bill, founded the business in 1975 – said that her company would offer “personalised training”.
