Bank hawk Sentance to join PwC team

A FORMER member of the Bank of England monetary policy committee (MPC), Andrew Sentance, is to join accountancy giant PwC as senior economic adviser.

Sentance left the rate-setting committee in May and consistently warned of the dangers presented by rising inflation and the low cost of borrowing. He said: “I look forward to the challenge of providing economic insights to inform corporate strategy.”
