Athena adds Duddingston to women's networking group

ATHENA Network Scotland is launching a further Edinburgh group this spring, beefing up its presence in the capital.

The networking organisation for women in business will add a Duddingston group to its growing portfolio on 4 March, just weeks after the launch of its Eskmills body.

Plans are in place for a third group to launch in Queensferry in May, establishing a total of six of the networking initiatives in Edinburgh.

The group – which also provides business support and a platform for shared ideas – will be run by Jeanette Hamill, the recently appointed regional manager for Edinburgh. She says: "The Eskmills and Duddingston groups open up the network to east Edinburgh and East Lothian. The response we've had proves busy east side business women are keen to network without having to trek into the city centre."
