Assura cuts Scottish assets

HEALTHCARE provider Assura has sold off two-thirds of its Scottish portfolio as part of a £17.9 million property deal.

The Cheshire-based firm announced yesterday that it would sell non-core operations, including health centres in Edinburgh, Aberdeenshire, Stranraer and Dundee, to Medical Centre Developments and its sister company Medical Centre Developments Scotland.
