Ashtead Technology opts for Braithwaite

Chris Braithwaite – the former chief operating officer at Wellstream, which was taken over by General Electric in December – was yesterday named as the chairman of Aberdeen-based offshore oil and gas equipment supplier Ashtead Technology.

Chief executive Graham Philip said: “We are excited to appoint Chris to help accelerate the delivery of our ambitious growth plans. He has a strong record of delivering excellence in subsea engineering services and his experience of profitable international expansion will be of great benefit to the management team.”
