These are: 1,851 sq ft to Barrhead Travel on a ten-year lease at 40,000 per annum; 2,254 sq ft to Sphere Clothing at 30,000 per annum; 1,270 sq ft to The Money Shop on a ten-year lease at 33,000 per annum; and 2,128 sq ft (the Mall Caf) to Mathiesons Bakers on a turnover-based deal.

Jones Lang LaSalle has secured a new tenant for the final suite at 44 Hanover Street, Edinburgh on behalf of landlord Essel Properties, with Flock Design & Advertising taking 1,136 sq ft on a five-year lease at 10 a sq ft. Colin Campbell of Jones Lang LaSalle said the deal confirmed the "continued strong demand in Edinburgh for smaller, well-priced suites".

LJR Properties has let the 1,273 sq ft Unit 2, 25 John Street, Penicuik to the Salvation Army for ten years at 18,000 per annum. The tenant was represented by Philip Wrag and the landlord Eric Young & Co.

Chris Ditchfield Properties has sold the former Dobbies Garden Centre site at Rhu Road Upper, Helensburgh on behalf of Exchange Court Properties to clients of McAuley, McCarthy and Co. solicitors. Zoned in the Local plan for 16 houses, the sale of the 2.73 acre site was on an unconditional basis at 850,000.

Meanwhile, on behalf of a private Irish landlord, the wide-roaming Mr Ditchfield has let a ground floor shop unit on High St, Dumfries (net area 1,255 sq ft) to the Salvation Army on a ten-year lease, with a break at year five, at 27,500 per annum. Philip Wragg acted for the tenant, Ditchfield Property acted for the Irish landlord.
