Angels put their cash into Bloxx

Internet filtering firm Bloxx is to invest in further product development after securing £550,000 from business angels and Scottish Enterprise.

The Livingston-based company will also pump funds into marketing, increasing its sales infrastructure in Britain and North America.

Chief executive Eamon Doyle said: “Our shareholders have shown that they share our optimism.”

Scotland’s largest “angel”, Archangel Informal Investment, and Braveheart Investment Company both made investments.
