Andy Murray backs digital health sector
The organisation, which said its project portfolio is worth more than £4 million, engaging more than 50 companies and 15 of Scotland’s universities, is focused on health and care needs in Scotland and looks to support the international export of proven technologies.
Murray said the five-year partnership came about “because I am really interested in how digital technologies can improve health” and added that the DHI’s is “changing lives and solving some really important health and care challenges”.

Hide AdAs part of the role, he is also set to choose the winner of an annual competition challenging colleges and schools to solve a major health problem. The global digital health market is expected to be worth £43 billion in 2018.
