Glasgow-based Andrew Muirhead & Son will provide leather for Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which will feature large seats, Ottoman storage units and widescreen televisions. The airline has even recorded a video inside Muirhead’s factory to demonstrate the production process to its customers.

Archie Browning, sales director at Muirhead, said: “We are very proud to continue our long-standing relationship with Singapore Airlines with this new supply agreement for its business-class product. The new cabins are designed and constructed with a very exacting attention to detail.”

Muirhead also lists Hilton Hotels, Morgan Motor Company and Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Group among its clients.
