Amor wins deal for Ofqual IT systems

INFORMATION technology firm Amor has won a £3.9 million deal with Ofqual, the regulator of qualifications, examinations and assessments in England.

Glasgow-based Amor – which also has bases in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, as well as south of the Border and in Houston, Texas – will provide IT systems and technical support to Ofqual over four years.

Ofqual will become a non-ministerial government department tomorrow and will report directly to parliament.

Amor will host the IT system for the "significant" contract win in its new data centre in Aberdeen.
