Amor to double size of its data centre

AMOR Group, the IT specialist, is to invest £750,000 in the expansion of its data centre in Aberdeen.

Work is now under way on the extension, which will more than double capacity at the facility, already used by several major oil and gas operators.

Dave Bruce, Amor Group's managed services director, said investment in the centre was in direct response to growing demand for remotely-managed IT services. Work on the complex at Altens is expected to be completed by the summer and will have no impact on services to current clients.
