Amor in £15m outsourcing deal with Asco

Amor group, the Scottish IT firm, has taken another stride towards its ambitious goal of doubling turnover by 2012 with a new contract worth £15 million over five years.

The deal announced yesterday with global oil and gas logistics company Asco is one of Amor's biggest contracts to date, and will see a further increase in staff as Asco's in-house team transfers to the IT specialist. The Glasgow-based company currently employs 425 people.

Amor secured the business after an extensive tendering process among UK and international competitors.
