Amec wins £10m BP contract

Engineering firm Amec has won a £10 million contract to provide services to BP on a project in Grangemouth.

The company will provide mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation work on the Kinneil crude oil stabilisation terminal which is expected to be completed next year. Up to 120 construction jobs are expected to be involved in the project with work starting immediately.
