Aberdeen tops office rental league

ABERDEEN has come out on top in the office rental league, according to a new survey by property firm CB Richard Ellis.

Its "regional offices market view" for the first half of the year shows take-up in the Granite City well ahead of its 2010 total with record prime rents of 31 per sq ft achieved due to a "huge surge in demand and a high oil price". Take-up reached a "staggering" 414,804sq ft, CBRE added.
