Tendeka has received a letter of intent outlining the provision of sand-face completion equipment to the oil major’s Norwegian assets.

Aker BP is the operator of the Valhall, Ula, Ivar Aasen, Alvheim and Skarv field hubs. Over the next three years, an existing frame agreement will see Tendeka deliver its sand screens and FloSure devices to Aker BP’s fields on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).

Last year Tendeka secured an exclusive, four-year contract for Equinor’s Troll field on the NCS. This includes delivering and installing up to 100,000 metres of sand screens and FloSure devices annually.

Scandinavia Area Manager Karianne Amundsen said: “Aker BP has been a great partner to collaborate with in the past and we look forward to working closely with the team over the coming years to enhance production across these key Norwegian fields.”
