80 lose jobs as Scots IT group collapses

EIGHTY jobs have been axed at Stirling-based IT company RFL Group, which has gone into liquidation.

KPMG has been appointed to handle the affairs of the 20-year-old company, based at the Stirling University innovation park.

A spokesman for KPMG said RFL Group had been suffering "substantial losses" and had serious cash flow problems.

RFL also specialised in environmental engineering and facilities management. Half the workforce were based in Stirling.
