1,000th contract won by Raynesway

INFRASTRUCTURE giant Balfour Beatty has revealed that Raynesway Construction, its Paisley-based civil engineering business, grew turnover by £8 million this year to £38m.

Raynesway has just signed its 1,000th contract, a £740,000 deal with West Lothian Council to strip the road surface from its Almond Valley bridge and reapply a fresh waterproof coating. The firm employs about 220 staff.
