100 jobs created at online deals firm

An ONLINE discount deals company is expanding its business and creating up to 100 news jobs, it was announced yesterday.

Negotiate Now, a website for businesses, trades and contractors to offer bargains to local customers, is hoping to fill the posts in Glasgow with people who are currently unemployed. The majority of the jobs will be in telesales but positions will also be created for up to 40 business development, IT and social media consultants at the company’s headquarters in the east end of the city.

The recruitment drive comes as a result of the company expanding and launching a new business support arm, Business Growth Now.

Stephen Lyall, managing director of both companies, said: “We are willing to provide training, with help from public sector partners, to give a chance to those who have not been lucky enough to find work in the past, or who have been out of work for some time.”
