Your Review: Whistle Down the Wind, Edinburgh Playhouse

Margaret Skirving, 63, Sighthill: "I thought it was great. Jonathan Ansell was brilliant as the Jesus character, and all the kids were absolutely adorable. I think anybody could come in and enjoy this show without knowing the story and that's the mark of a good musical."

Eric Smith, 58, retired, Saughton: "I enjoyed it and I'd say it's one of the better shows I've seen at the Playhouse recently. The children were all really great and gave the show a real heart-warming feel."

Steven Blyth, 23, administrator, Currie: "I thought the main guy (The Man] was good and brought the character to life really well. The set and props were also very good and really created a sense you were in deep south America. I thought the band were really good too."
