William Millar's mystery letter

Q: Does this letter belong to anyone?

A family moving to Germany discovered a letter at the bottom of their packing case and thought it may be of sentimental value.

Dated 19 May 1933, it is written to Kathleen from Aunt Christina. A note written in red pen dated 1989 from a William Millar states that it is the only letter "my mother's sister Christina Dow".

It goes on to say she was probably born in the 1860s and was matron of a hospital in Glasgow in the 1920s when she bought a Crown Derby tea service. She was matron of Hawthornden in Duddingston when the writer knew her in the early 1930s and she died in 1934 or 1935.
