Wedding dress and iPads amongst TITP debris
The discarded wedding dress, now in the dedicated T in the Park Lost and Found Property Office, is believed to have been worn by one of the revellers at the festival’s Fancy Dress Friday before being lost.
A spokesman for the Tayside Division of Police Scotland said “Tayside Division’s dedicated T in the Park Lost and Found Property Office is now open at the Barrack Street station in Perth.

Hide Ad“An estimated 800 to 1000 items have been collected following the festival and, with Police Scotland being inundated with phone calls and emails, many items have already been returned to their rightful owner.”
He revealed: “Amongst the treasure trove of items recovered or handed in this year was a wedding dress. There were no reports of anyone getting hitched at this year’s T in the Park and the bridal outfit was no doubt donned by a blushing reveller for Fancy Dress Friday.
“A large number of mobile phones have also found their way to Lost Property, with expensive Smartphones making up a large proportion of the overall number. iPads, iPods, and digital cameras have also been retrieved.
“As ever there is a large amount of clothing that has been trawled in, as well as purses, wallets, driving licences, bank cards and sunglasses.”
The spokesman continued: “The task of trying to reunite belongings with those who mislaid them is a laborious process and the lost property team will be staffing the office until Thursday, 22 August, in a concerted effort to meet that challenge.
“All enquiries regarding lost and found property should be made to the T in the Park property office, which is situated in a portable building in the quadrangle at the Barrack Street station in Perth. The office is open from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, until Thursday, 22 August. Enquiries can also be made by email – [email protected] up until 22 August.”
