Plasticine duo Wallace and Gromit have been to the moon, fought off evil penguins and solved one small town’s rabbit problem, but now they’ve done the impossible - they’ve had their picture taken alongside the Loch Ness monster.

The image of the animated man-and-dog duo at Loch Ness was created as part of a £4 million campaign to boost British tourism.

‘The Great Adventure’ was created by Aardman, the Oscar-winning team behind all the duo’s escapades, and features a whole host of UK landmarks.

The VisitEngland campaign, which is backed by VisitScotland, is accompanied by a new short film featuring the duo.

In the video, inventor Wallace’s holiday plans run into trouble when his ‘Holiday Hot Shots’ machine runs into trouble.
