Video: The reindeer herd of The Cairngorms

Around 150 reindeer can be found roaming across The Cairngorms as part of the only free ranging herd in Great Britain.

The beasts, who were brought from Swedish Lapland in the 1950s by two wildlife enthusiasts, are ideally suited to the harsh conditions of this part of Scotland and graze on moss, lichen and berries to survive.
