AWARD-winning Scottish author AL Kennedy has divulged one of her main sources of inspiration - children’s literature.
In a new interview as part of Radisson Blu’s Hidden Prologues series, Kennedy explores the ways in which children’s fiction inspires her writing.
Kennedy discusses the freedom of children’s writers to “make stuff up purely for the fun of it, as well as being a pure incarnation of story itself”, as well as talking about the ways in which children’s writing allows her to be more creative.
