TV host Sykes joins Carr on Radio 2

FORMER daytime TV host Melanie Sykes has landed a job as a Radio 2 presenter. She is to team up with Alan Carr for his Saturday evening show after Emma Forbes quit.

Sykes takes over for an eight-week stint on the two-hour show Going Out With Alan Carr.

Sykes said she was "made up" to have landed the slot.
