The production, currently being performed at Edinburgh’s Festival Theatre, has taken over £2 million thanks in part to the puppet, which stands 17 hands high and is operated by two people.

Accompanying Joey were Lee Armstrong, who plays the role of Albert in the show, and Finn Hanlon as Lieutenant Nicholls.
