What sort of pupil were you? Oh, I was chatty.

Were your school days the best days of your life? Loved school - didn’t learn much.

What was your first job? A Post Office counter assistant.

What has been your most unusual job? A face painter at Butlins’.

My biggest achievement so far has been... My relationship with my family.

My worst moment ever was… My mum dying.

Three words that sum up my personality are... Quirky, loud and affectionate.

Favourite place in the world? A wee patch of land near Greenock.

Three places in Edinburgh I could not live without are... The Mound, The Meadows and Scotmid.

Who is your best friend? My partner.

Which TV show do you never miss? Breaking Bad.

If you could bring one show to Edinburgh what would it be? Torch Song Trilogy.

Name one item you could not live without? My electric cigarette.
