Peapod are passing through

ROMANCE is in the air down by the Kirkgate in Leith next week, when Peapod productions return to the port to give audiences another chance to see Alistair Rutherford’s new romantic comedy, Passing Through.

There’s been a terrible mistake. The Dockers Social Club booked The Ace of Spades thinking it was a Motorhead tribute band, instead they got Tommy the Magician. So Tommy’s made a sharp exit. He’s now nursing a pint and a bruised ego in the pub down the road. Enter Alice, stomping in from the rain. She’s soaked through and worse still, has been stood up. That’s it, she’s had it forever with romance.

Passing Through, The Halls, South Leith Parish Church, Wednesday and Thursday, 8pm, £10, www.peapodproductions.co.uk
