Mary King’s Close have launched their first ever Close Fest, a series of events featuring everything from murderous make-up workshops to interactive tours.

Kicking off on Halloween night, the week opens with The Dark Truth tour, a late night interactive event that proved to be a hit with Fringe audiences. The tour promises to deliver ‘a tongue in cheek account of the edgier, murkier side to Edinburgh’s history’ whilst containing details ‘that will send a shiver down your spine’.
