Billy Connolly, Gullible’s Travels (1982)

Born in the Anderston district of Glasgow, Billy Connolly set out to become a folk musician, but instead became the nation’s best-loved comic. The Big Yin’s pithy one-liners punctuate his famously rambling delivery, which – besides giving him a platform to tell jokes – made him a first-class storyteller.
