Occupation: Actor.

What sort of pupil were you? I hated school but loved the girls.

What was your first job? Barman/bouncer.

My biggest achievement so far has been . . . Becoming a dad.

My worst moment ever was . . . When a little girl ran out in front of my car. Thankfully all she got was a broken arm.

Three words that sum up my personality are . . . Funny. Caring. Moody.

Favourite place in the world? Colorado, it’s very like Scotland.

Who is your best friend? My wife.

Three places in Edinburgh I could not live without are . . . The King’s Theatre. The Grassmarket. The M9 motorway to home.

Which TV show do you never miss? Top Gear.

If you could bring one show to Edinburgh what would it be? The Half Monty.

Name one item you not live without? Hair wax . . . lol.

By what ethos do you live your life? My family will always come first. Just because I have a disability, it doesn’t stop me doing anything I want to do or achieve. I try to live life to the best of my ability and take every day as it comes. I’m a real person.
