T in the Park review: Jenny and Johnny

God knows what it is about the Red Bull Transmissions Stage. Maybe it's the cumbersome name. Maybe it's the considerable distractions elsewhere. But for the second time this evening a quality international act - Jenny and Johnny - has failed to attract a remotely half decent crowd.

It's a crying shame - the two key protagonists, notable singer-songwriters in their own right, have incredible onstage chemistry, musical chops, and - goshdarnit - some fine songs for us all.

Last year's I'm Having Fun Now album was a wee belter and the few that have gathered to hear Big Wave, Scissor Runner and the rest know exactly what those seeing Beyonc are missing - sassy boy/girl American rawk with a country twist. Lovely stuff.
