Children Of Men

Tomorrow, STV, 10:15pm

*****

This is the first terrestrial showing of an extraordinary film set in a world where no children have been born for 18 years. Based on PD James' dystopian novel, society is crumbling in the face of war and famine. Clive Owen is brilliant as a disillusioned former activist who takes on a dangerous mission to get a girl to safety; a girl who could provide the hope people need but is being chased by rival exploiters. Michael Caine provides sterling support.
