IN THE fourth edition of our series of ‘festive’ Scottish Flashbacks, we’re in Glasgow city centre.

It may not look like it - mainly down to the absence of snow and Christmas lights - but this was taken on Christmas Eve in 1961.

The keen-eyed amongst you will notice a branch of Boots in the bottom right, opposite a Burton shop.

There’s also a Glasgow tram, and the No 38 bus in the foreground of the picture.
