Scott Monument coloured red for Remembrance Sunday
The Scott Monument was illuminated in poppy red on Friday night, and will remain as such until November 11 - Remembrance Day.
A number of Remembrance events are due to be held throughout Edinburgh over the next few days to mark the centenary of the ‘Great War’.
At the foot of the monument is the Legion Scotland Garden of Remembrance, opened on November 3.
Thousands of crosses have been installed in the Garden of Remembrance, including a special Afghanistan plot to commemorate the 453 servicemen killed in action during the conflict.
