The combined funds of the firms for the period up to April 2014 are almost £1 million up on the previous year’s figures.

A financial source said: “These figures show that Amy has had yet another successful year and increased the value of her companies by almost £1 million.

“She will also have personal earnings which are not channeled through the companies making her even wealthier.

“She writes all of her own songs which entitles her to a large slice of the royalties from her records.

“Investing her money for the future is also a shrewd and canny move so she is obviously getting good advice.”

Amy set up the firms more than seven years ago soon after signing her first record deal. And she has also not be shy in splashing out on luxury items with her royalty cash.

However, speaking last year, Amy admitted that buying luxury cars were her biggest financial extravangance.

She said: “I have a new Range Rover, the Ferrari I have had for a while and a Bentley.

“It’s not really a good thing to collect new cars because you can lose so much money but it’s something I am passionate about.

“I love driving and I love cars. I love the thrill of it. I’m very lucky that I can pursue that passion.”

Amy’s debut album This Is The Life, released in 2007, sold more than three million copies and she has sold seven million records in total.

The singer was unavailable for comment.
