Q READER Dorothy Jelley (nee Darby), from the West Midlands, is looking to trace relatives in Edinburgh as part of research into her family tree.

She hopes to make contact with family members on her father's side who she thinks may still live in the Capital.

Her dad was Frank Darby who had a brother called Daniel (born 1892 in Oldbury) who went on to marry a woman called Florence.

The couple had four children together: Florence Mary (born around 1921), Daniel (around 1926), Charles (1927) and Doreen (1934).

Florence Mary married a man called Horace (Bill) Williams and they moved to Edinburgh and had a daughter, Dorren.

A JOHN Timms asked last week what happened to Denzler's restaurant, which was once a popular feature of Constitution Street.

A former employee made contact to explain it was sold owing to the owners' joint retirement, but it is understood they still live in the Capital.
