Pub local's moment of magic as he finds Harry Potter script

The 118-page document, marked "private and confidential", was handed to a national newspaper after a customer said he found it under a table at the Waterside Tavern in Hertfordshire.

Members of the film crew, who are filming at the nearby Leavesden Studios, are said to be regulars at the bar.

One local said: "I couldn't believe my eyes. I know guys that work on the film drink in the pub, but it's very embarrassing that someone could just leave it there."

The new film is based on JK Rowling's last book about the adventures of the schoolboy wizard, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows.

Two separate films will be made based on the book with the first, starring Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, due to be released later this year. A Warner Brothers spokeswoman confirmed the script had been handed back to the company.

In May 2003, copies of the fifth novel in the series were found dumped in a field.

The copies of Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix were found in Bungay, Suffolk, a month before it was due to be published.
