HARD-PRESSED workers have been known to sleep in the office, and even take a midday nap in the work loos after burning the candle at both ends. Now a former banker has come up with a solution for those seeking a little shut-eye during working hours. For the first time, staff can hire a pod in which to catch up on their sleep. Users must follow guidelines, including a strict one-person-to-a pod policy, as well as avoiding full nudity. The pods contain a mattress, pillow and clock and are just over two metres long.
