MUSIC PROTECTS

Local DJ Isla Anderson has organised a night of music to aid Aegis Rwanda, a charity working to prevent crimes against humanity. Tonight’s entertainment includes live acts Jellyman’s Daughter, Jenny Dryden and Duncan McIntosh. A soulful house selection comes by way of DJs Craig Smith (6th Borough Project) and Pete Oadken (True Rebels). Tonight, Thursday 28 February, Voodoo Rooms, 7.30pm – 1am, £6

TEMPLE - GOES TRIBAL

Tonight is Tribal so dress appropriate (war paint, ripped clothes, etc). Guest DJ Joe Peel headlines the main room playing house and electro. DJ Dansco & Beef play out of the funk room while DJ Sparky serves up vintage in the old school room. As always the Temple Drummers bash out an exciting barrage of live percussion. BRAINSTORM – PURE (ACID HOUSE)

Brainstorm is arguably Edinburgh’s most influential DJ; he was one half of the infamous PURE techno duo who introduced the biggest names in techno to Scotland.
