New David Tennant, Billy Connolly film trailer

A TRAILER for a new British comedy starring Scots actors David Tennant and Billy Connolly has been unveiled.

What We Did On Our Holiday, also starring English actress Rosamund Pike, was created by the creators of BBC comedy series Outnumbered, and is billed as a “heart-warming, uplifting comedy”.

In the film, Dough (Tennant) and Abi (Pike) visit Doug’s father (Connolly) in the Highlands for his birthday. The pair travel with their three children, who threaten to reveal a secret to the rest of the family.

What We Did On Our Holiday will be released in the UK on September 26.
