New book showcases puppies posing underwater

PICTURES of puppies swimming underwater taken by an award–winning animal photographer have been compiled into a new book.

Underwater Puppies contains more than 80 unique images by Los Angeles–based Seth Casteel.

He snapped the moment when the puppies break through the surface of the water in a bid to capture a unique viewpoint of man’s best friend. Casteel said: “My series of underwater photos show a side of puppies we never get to see.

“Through the course of shooting I have worked underwater with more than

250 dogs. Most of the puppies featured in this book hadn’t been underwater until they met me. Some had never even been swimming.”
