Nicky Croy, 40, from Edinburgh’s Southside, the Functions Manager at the Edinburgh Minto Hotel, reveals her perfect weekend

1 Who would be your ideal weekend companion?

It would have to be David Beckham. I would love to spend the weekend with him.

2 Where would you take him in Edinburgh?

It would definitely have to be somewhere classy, so I’d probably take him to Harvey Nichols so we could enjoy the champagne bar.

3 Where would you go for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and why?

Oloroso – it has fabulous views of the city, great food and lovely drinks, and we could just stay there all day.

4 What item could you not be without and why?

I need my hairspray, as flat hair is a no-go for me.

5 How would your perfect weekend finish?

If I could, I’d jet off from Edinburgh, all set for getting on a private, luxury yacht and sail the Caribbean with cocktail in hand!
