My little piece of Scotland: Inverness

MY little piece of Scotland is Landmark, which is near Aviemore. Landmark is like no other place. I think it's wonderful. Normally when I get to Landmark I drag my mum, dad and my friends to go on the water slide but one thing I never forget before I go on the water slides is you always get wet! My favourite water slide is the Otter because when you go on it you can't see anything but darkness.

After I go on the water slide I always go on to the Tarzan Trail, which is about three or four metres off the ground. The only thing I don't like about the Tarzan Trail is that you have to wait for ages to get a shot.

My other favourite thing at Landmark is the maze. I think the maze at Landmark is quite tricky when it's your first time at it but if you go on it a lot it's very easy. I'll never forget when I got lost in the maze.

The climbing wall at Landmark is not one of my favourite things to do but I still have a go on it. On the climbing wall there are three different levels: easy, medium and hard. I like going on the easy and medium levels but I've never been on the hard.

The next thing I'm going to tell you about is the play area. One of my favourite bits in the play area is the slide. I think it's fabulous, although after a couple of seconds your go has gone. That means that there's never a queue that you have to wait in. That's one reason why I like it so much.

The last thing I normally do is go on the nature trail, which I love. On the nature trail there are wooden boxes and when you open them there is a fact for you to read. Before you go on the trail you can choose between two routes, one which goes on the ground and one which goes off the ground called the Treetop Trail.
