My Life in Clothes: Daniel Sloss, comedian

WHAT’S the last piece of clothing you bought? A pair of Converse. I used to hate them. I had nothing against the design, it was just something that the emos in my school wore. And emos are the worst people in the world.

Best ever bargain? I bought a lifesize velociraptor model which was reduced from £3,000 (total rip off) to £600 (utter steal). It’s the best thing I own. Next to that it would have to be my leather jacket which only cost £30 and I wear it constantly.

Who has great style? No idea. I have no style.

Name your favourite high street shop. Topman. I go shopping once a year with my younger cousins who take great pleasure in dressing me up.

What are you addicted to buying? Converse and T-shirts.

Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about? Not really, as I don’t really know when I look good or bad. I’ve probably gone out looking like an utter moron, but I would have been oblivious to the whole thing.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe? I have a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses. I wear them everywhere. Even indoors. And do you know why? Cos I paid £150 for the things.

Sloss is appearing at Brunton Theatre (Ladywell Way, Musselburgh) tomorrow at 7:30pm. Tickets £14.50, tel: 0131-665 2240 or see www.bruntontheatre.co.uk for further dates. Daniel Sloss Live DVD is out now, £20.42, BBC.
