Taylor Swift at Murrayfield Memories: 49 pictures of the star's historic Edinburgh gigs - one for each song

It’s been six months since the world’s biggest pop star led a friendly invasion of Scotland’s Capital.

In June Edinburgh became part of musical history when Murrayfield Stadium played host to shows 97, 98 and 99 of Taylor Swifts record-shattering Eras Tour (Liverpool had the honour of staging the 100th gig).

This Sunday (December 8) will see the tour come to an end in Vancouver after 149 shows across 53 cities in 21 months, Taylor Swift's Eras tour will be coming to an end this Sunday.

The tour has seen earth tremors caused by applause, ‘Taylornomics’ boosting the economy wherever she goes, a new album, a new boyfriend, hundreds of surprise songs and millions of friendship bracelets made and swapped.

The three Edinburgh gigs on June 7, 8 and 9 saw Swifties turning the Scottish Capital into Taylortown for a memorable long weekend.

Even the Scottish weather seemed to be a fan, with crowds bathing in sunshine for much of the weekend - a small smattering of rain the only hint of Edinburgh’s notoriously unreliable climate.

To mark the end of the Eras Tour we’re taking a look back at the three unforgettable concerts with 49 pictures representing the 49 songs Taylor played - 43 in her main set and the siz surprise songs played over the three nights.
