American Music Awards 2026: Here's the full list of winners - including BTS

BTS, Katseye and Sombr were among the big winners at the 2026 American Music Awards.

Taking home the night’s top prize after their massive return to music earlier this year, K-pop group BTS beat the likes of Bad Bunny, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Lady Gaga and more.

As well as winning the fan-voted honour for the second time, the band also scooped Song of the Summer for Swim and Best Male K-Pop Artist.

Among first time winners were Sombr and Katseye, who each took home three awards, with the HUNTR/X from Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters receiving three prizes.

Rock legend Billy Idol was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award, performing a medley of some of his biggest hits including White Wedding, Eyes Without A Face and Dancing with Myself.

Other performances on the night came from New Kids on the Block, Sombr, Teddy Swims, Twenty One Pilots, BTS and more.

The American Music Awards is the largest fan-voted awards show in the world, recognising influential artists and their fanbases. Nominations were based on key fan interactions such as streaming, album and song sales, radio play, and tour grosses, tracked over a year.
