Miss Thomson's cough lozenges

Eleanor Robb, nee Lennie, formerly of Henderson Street in Leith and now living in New Zealand, is wondering if anyone remember the cough lozenges sold by Miss Thomson from "over the bridge near Sandport Street".

She explains: "We were warned not to eat too many as they contained chloroform – is this true? Does anyone know what the ingredients were as I loved the taste and they certainly soothed a "sair throat"!
